Michael Vriend, DVM
Dr. Michael Vriend is a compassionate and highly skilled veterinarian with deep roots in Las Vegas and Henderson. After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Nevada, Reno, he moved to the Caribbean to earn his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University, School of Veterinary Medicine. He completed his clinical year at the Royal Veterinary College in London, further enhancing his expertise in veterinary care.
Dr. Vriend worked extensively in both general and emergency veterinary practice in Las Vegas before transitioning to Compassionate Pet Crossing as his full-time focus. At Compassionate Pet Crossing, he provides the highest standard of in-home euthanasia services. Dr. Vriend founded Compassionate Pet Crossing with the belief that the final moments of a pet’s life should be peaceful, dignified, and free of stress.
With a deep understanding of the emotional toll that comes with saying goodbye to a pet, Dr. Vriend strives to make this process as gentle and comforting as possible.
