My husband and I had to say goodbye to our sweet boy Woody earlier this month and choosing to work with Dr. Vriend was the best choice we could have made. Dr. Vriend was extremely empathetic and very kind to our pup and to us. He made us feel comfortable with our decision and answered any question we had with knowledge and clarity and kindness.

Lisa – I am incredibly grateful for Dr. Vriend! We had to make the heart-wrenching decision to help our 10yo little love cross the Rainbow Bridge with very little notice last month. Dr. Vriend was able to squeeze us in that same afternoon. He was empathetic and kind. He gave our surviving pup so much extra love, she thanked him with kisses, which she rarely does. He explained the entire process with compassion and clarity. And he gave us lots of time to say our goodbyes. I cannot imagine how heavy his work is, but it is so important. He explained the whole process to each individual and made sure we were able to ask as many questions as we would like. He did not rush this process and was very gentle with Tucker.
